tahir_rahman

Tahir Rahman, Business Finance Advisor

Tahir is an experienced Business Finance Manager and has recently joined the GetSet London team as a Business Finance Advisor. With several years of experience working within the retail and commercial banking sector, Tahir’s most recent role was as a delivery partner for the Start Up Loans company, helping entrepreneurs and new startups successfully apply for funding for their businesses.

Tahir is no stranger to the challenges facing small businesses, having run his own successful Indian restaurant in Woodford Green in Essex. Whilst at University, he has seen his restaurant grow from a start up into a thriving SME.

A keen footballer and MMA fan, Tahir is an Arsenal fan that watches his team play whenever he can. Tahir is delighted to be joining the experienced team of professionals at GetSet London and looks forward to working with SME’s to help them achieve their growth potential.

 

Hannah_Day

Hannah Day, Client Services Executive

Hannah recently joined the GetSet for Growth East of England team. Having worked previously for a company specialising in business training courses and leadership skills, she then moved onto become Marketing Admin Assistant in the healthcare sector.

These positions have stood Hannah in good stead as she brings with her knowledge of organising teams and building a client base. She will be supporting the business finance and marketing advisors in delivering specialist services to small businesses across the East of England.

Hannah is looking forward to supporting the GetSet for Growth East of England team, providing the best possible experience for our SME clients.

 

Robyn Sinclair

Robyn Sinclair, Marketing & Sales Advisor

As the YTKO Group’s Marketing Director, Robyn joins the GetSet for Growth team with a rare combination of strategic business insight, industry acumen and genuine creative flair.

An experienced and accomplished business-to-business and consumer marketer, Robyn is passionate about results: committed always to delivering a step-change in clients’ revenues, profitability and growth.

Having cut her teeth in the complex, competitive and relentlessly demanding world of direct mail, Robyn was quick to embrace the nascent digital marketing tools – from email and pay per click advertising, to search and social media. She has an unerring ability to ‘deep-dive’ into clients’ markets, products and channels – quickly grasping the most complex value chains, sales cycles and competitive contexts; getting to the heart of each branding and communications challenge.

During her career, Robyn has worked with start-ups and SMEs to ‘household name’ brands, across a raft of industries; from engineering, financial and professional services to luxury goods, high value manufacturing, technology, travel and leisure.

Lucy Carmichael, Operations Director

Lucy is the Project Operations Director for our Regional Growth Fund contract, overseeing the national delivery of GetSet for Growth. She brings to the role substantial experience of delivering outsourced public services in the increasingly competitive welfare-to-work sector.

Most recently she worked on the government’s flagship Work Programme contract, where she was responsible for the provision of employability, skills and health support for long-term unemployed individuals. Lucy has led contracts across seven Local Enterprise Partnership areas of the UK, consistently demonstrating a results-oriented focus on quality service provision.

Lucy’s collaborative approach to delivery sees her working with a range of private, public and third sector partners to achieve the best for clients and to align efforts with partner organisations and shared interest groups. Her passion for supporting communities to unlock their potential has allowed her to work previously with service providers in Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, East of England and Poznan. She is particularly keen to work with groups who have complementary interests in supporting small and medium business to grow.
